Delete your account

You can delete your ZamoRent account here or in the ZamoRent app (Account, then Delete account). It is the same account on both.

What happens straight away

You are signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in.
Your listings are taken down.
Upcoming viewings are cancelled, and the other person is told.
You will no longer get ZamoRent notifications on your phone.

After 30 days

We erase your name, email, phone number, profile photo, ID documents, payout details, saved listings and notifications, and email you when it is done. Until then you can change your mind: email support@zamorent.com from the address on your account and we can restore it.

What we keep

Records of payments you made or received, in full, for our financial records.
Messages you sent, which stay with the people you sent them to, shown as from "Deleted user".
Reports made to our safety team.

When it has to wait

An account cannot be deleted while money is still moving: a payment not yet released (rent is held for 24 hours from payment, then released to the landlord unless a dispute is raised), an open dispute, an upcoming short stay, monthly rent collection, or an open service booking. We will tell you what is outstanding.
